Trophy Whitetail Hunts:
August 15th-January 1st
10 Hunters per day
(rifle, shotgun, or bow)
1 buck (8point or better) and 1 doe per day*

Buckeye Hunting Lodge offers over 50 different hunting locations in a variety of stands such as: box stands, tower stands, tripods, lean twos and ground blinds. Box stands range for 6 to 12 feet high. Buckeye Hunting Lodge implements a year round nutrition program to make sure the Whitetail populations on our property receives every essential nutrient needed to grow big antlers. In additions to our plots local farmers grow peanuts, corn, wheat and soybeans located throughout our property. Hunters will be provided transportation to and from their stands by one of the staffs members for morning and afternoon hunts.
Eastern Turkey Hunts:
March 20th-May 5th
(shotgun, or bow)
1 gobbler per day (3 total)
At Buckeye Hunting Lodge you can experience some of the best Eastern turkey hunting the Lowcountry has to offer. Buckeye has the prime habitat for turkeys with is hardwood bottoms, acorn ridges, planted pines and superb water source for the Big Salkehatchie River. These habitats provides turkeys with the optimal spot for successful hatching and the timber on the property provides safe roosting and an excellent source of food to graze. We also plant several different food sources to help supplement the native habitat. We offer fully guided hunts that include transportation and calling and non-guided hunts for the experienced turkey hunter.
Trophy Boar Hunts:
All Year
(rifle, shotgun, or bow)
2 hogs per day
Buckeye Hunting Lodge’s swamp is located on the Big Salkehatchie and makes for the perfect habitat for hogs. Hardwood bottoms, corn and acorn ridges provide an immense food supply for these wild boars. Hunters will be picked up and dropped off at their stands by staff members, these stands will either be tripod, ground blinds, box, or tower stands.
